This PoE+ HAT from [52Pi](/content/collections/52pi/index.html) has **multiple PoE pin headers**, making it compatible with [Raspberry Pi 5](/content/products/raspberry-pi-5/index.html), [4B](/content/products/raspberry-pi-4-model-b/index.html), and [3B+](/content/products/raspberry-pi-3-model-b-plus/index.html), providing power over Ethernet through the 802.3at standard.

The HAT allows you to power your Raspberry Pi directly via an [Ethernet cable](/content/products/2m-network-cable-for-the-raspberry-pi/index.html) using a compatible PoE+ switch or [injector](/content/products/raspberry-pi-poe-injector/index.html), removing the need for a separate power supply and reducing cable clutter in your setup.

With an **output of 5.1V at 4.5A**, the HAT supplies ample power for the Raspberry Pi and connected peripherals. It **includes GPIO and PoE+ interface extensions** via 2x20-pin and 2x2-pin female headers, making it suitable for additional expansions and accessories.

Thermal performance is a key improvement. Under equivalent load, this HAT operates at temperatures **up to 30°C cooler** than comparable PoE+ modules. This helps maintain stability under continuous use.

**Important: Do not connect a power supply to the USB-C port when using this PoE+ HAT, as it may damage the Raspberry Pi.**
